For my Advanced Design and Manufacturing course, I reimagined a pulse oximeter to make it more friendly for pediatric patients while maintaining functionality.

After exploring multiple ideas that would be both fun and functional, the final device created was the Turtle O2 Pulse Oximeter-- a pediatric pulse oximeter inspired by a sea turtle.

 I developed sketches of my initial ideas and final design, CAD files in Autodesk Fusion 360 that included electronics and a cushioned interior grip, renderings, a video pitch, and FEA to demonstrate the safety of my design in its intended use case.
