Engineering Innovation SolidWorks Assignment (Spring 2019)

I was tasked with creating three 3-D parts and an associated assembly in SolidWorks.
I first had to create a 3-D ‘Plate’ part that contained a 50mm triangle, square, and circle and generate a dimensioned drawing with two orthogonal views and a 3-D auxiliary view.

I then produced and 3-D printed a ‘Multi-Block’ part made of ABS/PC plastic containing three mutually orthogonal perimeters that could pass through each of the three apertures in my ‘plate’ with full perimeter line-to-line fit.

To demonstrate that the Multi-Block fit within the Plate, I generated an assembly with the Plate and three Multi-Blocks, where each Multi-Block was centered in an aperture in the Plate.
